Huge congratulations to Roger who has achieved The Institute of Meat’s Master Butcher status. This is a great achievement which means Roger now joins only 17 other Master Butchers in the country, an accolade that’s acknowledge by The Worshipful Company of Butchers. The few successful candidates will be announced at the Court Lunch which follows the IoM and WCB Awards Ceremony in February 2016.
To be a Master Butcher, Roger has proven he has extensive knowledge of cutting all types of meat and understands age rotation, yields and much more. He’ll pass on his expertise to all the butchers in our shops and maintain the high standard we have always set for ourselves.
