Over the last forty something years, Brendan, Austin and Roger have established a network of suppliers: some supply chains span over forty years.
The Team enjoys a great rapport with all suppliers and this has allowed our suppliers to have a unique understanding of our business needs.
All of our suppliers have been through a documented supplier approval procedure. ‘Supplier Approval’ is based on a combination of certification: BRC or other GFSI- recognisable scheme and supplier audits, with a scope to include product safety, traceability, HACCP review and good manufacturing practices.
Customers can be confident that our meat has been reared on farms with good animal welfare standards and the meat is easily traceable: ‘gate to plate’, through our assured supply chain. As part of our Accreditations: BRC, Red Tractor Meat Processor & AHDB: we have to demonstrate this on a monthly basis.
Our supply network enables us to source: all species: all cuts; regional and rare breed; seasonal and exotic meat and meat fit for religious and dietary need. Meat that was produced at its best, fresh and traditionally butchered.
